painter Peter Restelli academic, was born November 3, 1934 in Lecco where he lives.
For several years working professionally in painting, participating in festivals and competitions.
Self-taught with a passion for drawing ever since elementary school, for unavoidable reasons of work and family, can not devote himself to painting than twenty years.
At that age becomes a ski instructor, and then in close contact with nature, causes the latent passion explodes.
The paintings are born and follow each other in the continuous stimulation of a landscape that deeply loves Restelli. The mountain scenery is constantly inspired, anxieties and joys that carries on the canvas, emerging with poetic truth that his soul full of love he has inside.

his work is easy to believe him because of the calmness that communicate, that happiness which contain primary, for the quiet and careful preparation for that ability to enjoy the world. That sort of silence that leads to contemplation, an indispensable condition for establishing a dialogue with nature, to plunge into it. The man, hardly ever conscious choice. In order not to remove natural charm to the show, to sing in completeness, the happiness of discovering a glimpse met in the back of a gentle sunset, a lake detected by the light of a magical sunrise.
