Dear friends free library , we mark an initiative in collaboration with Association BIBLIOHOSPITALIS .

This association voluntary work within Manzoni Hospital of Lecco using the book and reading to stimulate human contact with the patients in the hospital. In short, their carts, the aisles, not medicines or drugs, but some good books that can read the sick during the period of hospitalization.

We know that the time in hospital, after treatment, many can be long and tedious. For this reason it was decided to transform the hospital stay into an opportunity to recapture moments of "special" that sometimes we overlook in our daily lives, offering meetings with writers, artists, actors, etc. readings. Cultural events to be held within the same department, just to be closer to the sick.
